This week, we celebrate the birthday of Grandma Moses, a beloved American folk artist.

Anna Mary (Grandma Moses) Robertson Moses, American painter (Christmas at Home, Fourth of July, The Old Checkered House, The Old Checkered Inn in Summer, The Old Oaken Bucket, Out for the Christmas Trees, Sugaring Off and Thanksgiving Turkey), was born on September 7, 1860.

To honor this artist, SIMPLY SNICKERS offers samples of her work to accompany this week’s prompt.
