Poetry Prompt - for Sunday, May 4, 2008

This week's poetry prompt includes these key words:

umbrella
under
puddle
promise

Why not display your tricks with limericks, dazzle your readers with meters or show you're in your prime with rhyme?

Or, if you are feeling carefree and creative, why not immerse in some zestful free verse?

Be sure to come back and leave a comment with a link to your post, once you have published your poem on your own blog.

Have fun!

  3. In honor of this weekend and the Kentucky Derby Horse race . . . here's an entry from THE MANE POINT.

(Of course, the Derby is a thoroughbred race, and this pertains to trotters, but it still seems somehow apt.)

  6. could you possibly change your comment display from pop up window to display on page,, as we cannot click on the links, comment and return properly in the pop up window and that is making the commenting on others entries difficult.. thanks again.....
