Poetry Prompt - for Sunday, July 6, 2008

The Blue House
By Marc Chagall (c1917)

Welcome to SIMPLY SNICKERS.

This week, for Sunday, July 6th, our SIMPLY SNICKERS poetry prompt includes these key words:

magnificent

moments

This week, we celebrate the birthday of Russian artist Mark Chagall (born July 7, 1887). To honor this master artist, SIMPLY SNICKERS offers two favorite pieces to accompany this week’s prompt. Feel free to use either or both of the pictures, or not, as inspiration strikes you.

Be sure to come back to SIMPLY SNICKERS by Sunday, July 6th, and leave a comment with a link to your post, once you have published your poem on your own blog.

Please be sure to check out the other SIMPLY SNICKERS entries. What creative writer doesn’t appreciate encouraging comments?

Hello everyone. I missed last weeks prompt because we were on vacation.

I'm gonna try to get the HTML right this time. I'm using the notes you gave me Linda!

Here's my entry for this week:
